Enter the worlds of Space Time, Free Time, Deep Time and Dream Time and get a temporal fix on lenses that lie, lonely-hearts messages, preserved interiors, forgotten landscapes and future nightmares. Edited by Ken Hollings and Sheena Calvert with design by Clem Rousset, Not Far From Now offers the outcome of the ‘Explain Yourself’ writing workshops in which Year 2 Visual Communication students are encouraged to compose a 250-statement that defines some key aspect of their individual practice. This can be anything from a specific design strategy or manifesto to a personal experience or ideological position.
