In support of the UCU industrial action, RCA tutors and students, with the community in Battersea will be holding an afternoon and evening of events to affirm the political power of affirmation and joy.

3-5pm Free Tea Dance with Lessons

Learn some basic steps in the Cha Cha Cha and Social Foxtrot with dancers, before enjoying a community tea dance. Anybody can lead or follow, beginners and non-dancers all very welcome!

5pm Food + Discussion

Hot vegetarian food and discussion for nourishment and warmth prepared by students of RCA Visual Communication, Roland Ross, Siddhi Gupta and Clem Roussett.

6-9pm Talks on Collective Joy

Into the evening with talks and teach outs reflecting on joy as a political strategy.
