Public Online Michael Connor is the Artistic Director of Rhizome. A digital art and culture organization, affiliate in residence at the New Museum in New York City. Rhizome works on commissions, exhibitions, digital preservation, and software development of digital art. In his tenure, Michael oversaw the Net Art Anthology initiative, a web-based exhibition, gallery exhibition, and book that retold the history of online art through 100 artworks from the 1980s to the present. As a web-based exhibition curator Michael will talk about the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic on institutions and artists. He will explain the essence of Online Exhibitions and the difference from the Physical to Digital.
